Jesus Saves

An Open Doors worker in Iraq has passed on this story to us:

A Muslim taxi driver was driving in Mosul. He dropped off a Christian passenger and noticed after a little while that the man had forgotten his necklace with a crucifix. The taxi driver decided to wear the necklace. Later that day he was stopped by armed men. They challenged him: "Are you Sunni or Shiite?" The driver panicked. He knew that if he gave the wrong answer he would be shot. He shouted, "I am neither! I am Christian. Here, look!" And he clutched the cross on his chest. All the men laughed. One sneered, "We don't believe that stuff, but drive on!"

When he arrived home the taxi driver told his wife, "Jesus saved me!" That day he gave his life to Jesus.
