BAMBOO IN WINTER

She was just back from university, awaiting her career placement from the Government. With memories of the tragedy at Tiananmen Square still fresh in her mind, she now faced a new kind of revolution: a revolution of the soul.

The Preacher had come to the village bringing the Bible's life-changing message, but Ah Choi thought herself too educated to be convinced by the words of the evangelist.

Behind the sun

Samir is young and successful. His family love him. So what's the problem?

When Samir comes home, he's the same boy they knew, except in one vital respect - he has become a Christian. How will they react? Will his best friend stick by him if the going gets tough? What about the pastor who is in prison? Why is he there and who will help him? What does it mean, and what does it feel like, to be sent "Behind the Sun"?

You will explore the answers, and share the dilemmas, when you encounter the people in this true-to-life action-filled drama.

Based on true-to-life events and conversations, this heart-wrenching story of a family torn apart will stimulate every viewer to prayer and concern for Christians in the Muslim World.

Stripes of a Zebra

What the Muslims say: "We will build two mosques for every church in Africa."

What the Christians say: "Please help us find Bibles so we can tell our friends about Jesus."

Here in all its dramatic and heart-wrenching reality is the plight of Christians on the frontier between Islam and Christianity. Rashid, a Christian boy, is kidnapped by Arabs in a brutal assault in his village.  As he is dragged away, he hears his mother calling to him before she is shot: "Just as a zebra cannot change its stripes, so you cannot change who you are!" But Rashid is first beaten and then "rescued" by a Muslim family and raised as their own son. As he grows and studies, he faces a successful future. But Rashid's memories of his mother and brother call him to rediscover his true identity.
